Welcome in 2008

Happy, free and successful New Year to all of you who reads this weblog. After going silent for nearly 2 years, during which weblogs happened to go mainstream, I am pleased you find reasons to read it.
The following are not ‘resolutions’ how most people practice them, more things which are on my to-do list for the next year:
- Hobbies: Get to Intermediate-Advanced level at French; do more ice climbing and skiing
- Practice: Do some training and continue with Toastmasters
- Learn: Lean development (three candidate books) and enterprise architecture (should I read this?)
- Work: Get the two projects I own (ERP rollout and security improvement) to a reasonably stable state
- Writing: Be more conversational in the weblog; get del.icio.us to Wordpress interface; finish the architecture paper I’ve been working on
- General: Have fun and push boundaries
