I work as an enterprise architect for a large consultancy. I started my working life in the security and infrastructure, but during time, my work broadened to other subjects including ERP implementation, custom software development, web-enablement, application portfolio consolidation or architecture governance. My main industry experience has been in central government and manufacturing. I currently live between Paris and London.
I have been on the net since 1992. I have been blogging since 2001:
2001 “I started blogging, fantastic!”. Userland Radio
2002 Specialising on security. Many little posts, primarily a list of link to articles I read
2003 I am thinking that technology is not an ideal revolutionary tool, even if it is called identity
2004 Migration to Movable Type & name change. Linking is boring and I start writing fewer, essay-type posts mostly on the subject of security management
2005 In the real world, I am taking on architecture lead role on a very large programme, which means fewer posts related mostly to architecture
2006 Movable Type breaks down and at the same time the programme I work on goes into delivery. Most essays and clippings are on the topic of large scale systems and delivery process.
2007 My third weblog migration, this time to Wordpress. I started using del.icio.us for linking so the weblog is now used almost exclusively for longer posts related to architecture management.
